Free tour
At Beyond Bordeaux, our free walking tours run during our free time with fixed times, and meeting points.
They’re designed for solo travelers and small groups—maximum 7 people—for a more personal experience.
Our tours are tip-based, so there’s no fixed price and no upfront costs to join. It is up to you to evaluate your guide’s work and reward it. Some people give 10€, others 50€ depending on their satisfaction and abilities.
We suggest arriving about 10 minutes early—or at least 5—so you don’t miss the start!
Language
Tours are in English, or in Chinese on demand.
Cancellation
Yes, the tour is free. But we still need you to book in advance to keep things running smoothly. And if you need to cancel, we’d really appreciate it if you could send us a quick cancellation email—it helps us stay organized and make sure everyone has the best experience!
On our side, we do everything we can to ensure all tours run as scheduled. However, if a tour is canceled, we’ll notify you as soon as possible and do our best to reschedule or offer an alternative date.
Denying participation
Joining our tours is completely voluntary. However, we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone at any time for any reason—for example, if someone is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or behaves in an offensive or disruptive manner.
Risk
We do our best to keep risks to a minimum during our tours, but some things are beyond our control. For this reason, we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience experienced by participants or their property while taking part in our tours. Make sure that you are covered by travel insurance.
Forgotten item
We can’t be held liable for any forgotten or lost item during the tour.
Drinking an smoking
Feel free to bring a bottle of water or soft drink. Drinking alcohol or smoking during the tour is not allowed.
